Hopefully Yaya enjoyed her Oklahoma birthday celebration. My friend, Shannon, let us borrow her mini van so we could all ride to lunch, (which was a treat from Mom's coworker, JoDee.) So, thanks to the two of them, we went to Red Lobster... Yum! Then we watched Snowbuddies and had Buffalo Chicken Dip for dinner, followed by the beautiful triple chocolate cake. Overall, I think it turned out to be a good day for her.

It was a beautiful Valentine's day. I think the high was around 78! Wow! It was nice for the boys to get out and play in their matching "future heartbreakers" t-shirts from Yaya.

Here are a few pics of the boys playing together today. They seem to be enjoying one another's company, but they aren't thrilled with the "group picture" thing.

Mom, Rene and Jack made it here safe & sound. Thankfully Jack did not burst into tears when he saw me the first time...phew! I think he might actually like his Aunt Amanda (a little). Brad is thrilled that the reunion of Two Nuts and a Fruitcake has finally taken place. (The fruitcake could be either Rene, Mom or myself depending on the day.)

...thought these would be fun for y'all to look at. As best I can guess, Wilson was about 17 months when these were taken and Walker was 20 months. It is the same W, just flipped for the different colors. Brad got the W at a George W. rally in 2004. It has made good room decor for the boys!

the last of the Grandpa G & Grandma G pics for awhile...

Grandpa wanted a pic of Brad in uniform, so I made everyone get in with him after work yesterday.and a new one for the bulletin board at Grandpa & Grandma's church (you know Brad didn't want to smile...he'll probably be less than happy when he sees this smily pic on the blog!) He is mighty handsome, isn't he?
Grandpa & Grandma hit the road this morning, praying they have good roads all the way to Michigan. We had a wonderful visit with them, and I think even Muskoka was sad to see them go today. Good-byes are tough, and getting tougher for the boys (which makes it even tougher for us!)

We started a couple "of-the-month" clubs for grandparents and great-grandparents. Grandparents are members of the Artwork of the Month Club and Great-Grandparents are members of the Photo of the Month Club (since most of them don't see the blog). Well, the Photo part of the Photo of the Month Club is a little tricky. Above are a few examples of my vain attempt this morning to capture the "perfect" shot of the two of them. Maybe tonight we'll get one! (Oh, I like to give credit where credit is due, and if you like this idea....I read something about it in Family Fun).
